Cross Country's 1973 self titled LP

Cross Country are a bit like Crosby Stills Nash & Young, at least in the tight harmonies and rural folky hippie rock they produce. Nice laid back sip on iced tea and smoke some herb type o' stuff. Every now and then they do give rocking out a shot so it's not all mellow. This was released in 1973 on Atco records and is their only LP. As all the songs kind of run into each other, it is a one track file and is recorded from vinyl (CD was released in Japan but I don't like it 36 dollars worth!!). This is my first attempt with a file host other than rapidshare and the upload took twice as long. Any feedback on the download(s) would help me to decide if this is the way I'll be going. Thanks in advance.

Tracks:

1)Today 2)Just A Thought 3)Cross Country
4)In the Midnight Hour 5)Things With Wings
6)Extended Wings 7)Tastes So Good To Me
8)A Fall Song 9)Choir Boy 10)A Ball Song
11)A Smile Song

TT:

From my experience Depositfiles has a medium speed. But in the past its always dependable without many cancelled files.

Thanks for all you work to keep up this great blog!

Deposit file was down for quite a while today. Unknown as to why it was down, but, if it is a trend rather than an occasional occurance I won't be using deposit file. They are back up right now so if you want to grab the file you should be able to. I may give megaupload a shot tonight.

I checked out spread it and they only host the files for 14 days. I need something with a little more long term storage.

Try rapidshared.com with 45 days limit, and use protected links!
Lix.in is very well!almost all sites use them for long and i,ve never saw a "poste deleted complains received" any more!

By the way i have a premium in megaupload so thanks for cross country,i dont know about the others with free but i getit!

Everything went fine with megaupload like it always does. Account or no account. Deposite files has a tendency to corrupt your files. Rapidshare.com is fine also, while rapidshare.de sucks. Thank you for re-uploading.

Thanks for re-upping to megaupload.

HI, first of all, thanks for this one. I first noticed this album in an internal paper bag in an Atlantic album, I think it was Live Cream. I'm trying to download it now. Regarding the links: Megaupload is a waste of time, always got the message "the slots for your country are full". Deposite files is (always) extremely slow. Cheers!

These guys were actually The Tokens, had a minor hit with "Midnight Hour"

Cheers for this fine dreamy-summer-like lp. Megauplod worked fast and file is fine.

BTW: JUST ANYTHING is more download-friendly than rapidsh-de or -com.

My dad bought the "Midnight Hour" single when I was a kid. The flip side to that song was "A Smile Song", which actually rocked my socks off. (This was before I discovered Led Zep). Anyway, that song is impossible to find anywhere at any price. Thanks for the upload and letting me rediscover that song!
