I said I didn't have it and I do

Not only did I have it, I had it twice!! The file contains a pic of the cover but almost every cover site on the internet has this one, so I didn't re-upload the rar because as usual I forgot to put them in. But I am so happy I found this, I'm listening to it now and I think this is probably one of their finest albums. From 1972. I'll be back tomorrow with more stuff, I'm doing some requests from vinyl, and those take awhile as I have to do them real time.

The UK cover. Why? I donno. Just a nicer cover.

To my ears, Gentle giant is the apex of progressive rock. This was the first album I bought (with the original die-cut cover, still have it!) and it was the beginning of a life-long love affair. I had the pleasure to see them twice in Southern California in the early 70's. This brilliant album of 8 tunes (Octopus... get it??) really shows off GG's talents. This is a MUST HAVE for any prog rock enthusiast!

If that isn't a glowing recommendation, I don't what is!

Thanks for the scan of the UK cover. Got to be Roger Dean, right?

I'm not absolutely sure if it or not. But it looks like his work. I love it though!

Here's one I'm going to give another try -- the American jacket was the big selling-point for me -- the music, not so much. But that was 30 years ago and my ears have grown subtler.
